About Bath RAG

Bath RAG (Raise and Give) is the student fundraising group of the SU. RAG raises money through various events run throughout the year and then donates the money to both local and national charities. From Zombie Apocalypses, to Colour Runs and Race to Paris hitch events - RAG really do it all!

If you are a student/student group at the SU, Bath and are wanting to organise a fundraiser, then be sure to get in touch with RAG to see how we can support you. Whichever charity you choose to support, there's no better feeling than raising money and awareness for some incredible charities.

Each year, RAG supports two charities via their student-led fundraising events. These events help to raise money for the Top Two, with a small allocation going to the Small Charity Grant and to RAG's operating costs. This year the Top Two, as voted for by the students body, are Voices and Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

Voices works together with people who have been affected by domestic abuse to prevent harm and promote recovery. They aim to help families to recover and thrive through individual support and advocacy, as well as a suite of group recovery programmes.

Great Western Air Ambulance provide emergency care to people who are in a state so critical that they require specialist skills at the scene of the accident or medical incident. Though they are part of the regional 999 response service and work closely with NHS hospitals, they are a charity entirely funded by local people just like you!

Regardless of which campaign, event or individual you choose to support, your donation will be making a huge difference to the lives of hundreds of people within the local community - thank you!
